A Chinoiserie decorated black japanned bureau bookcase / cabinet, circa 1930, the top with a pair of glazed doors opening to reveal adjustable shelves, the bureau base with drop flap, mahogany interior with an arrangement of pigeon holes and drawers, over two long drawers and raised on square supports joined by stretchers.
