A Victorian bamboo wardrobe in Aesthetic taste, the hand painted Japanese lacquer panelled door inset with a bevelled mirror and bamboo moulding, flanked by side panels covered in a thick anaglypta type paper moulded in relief with flowers in bronze and gilt and with applied bamboo detailing, the reverse of the door and the sides of the wardrobe also covered in the same paper, the single base drawer with lacquer panelled front and brass swing handles. The interior of the wardrobe with original brass hanging hooks.

Condition is good overall, some wear to the paper in places and some damage to the paper on the bottom section on the inside of the door.
