A large, good quality, 19th century French Louis XVI revival canapé, the painted channel-moulded frame with gilt tied-bow cresting to the oval back over a pair of shaped arms, the upholstered seat raised on four flowerhead-capped tapering supports and with carved bow detail to the seat rail.
Traditionally upholstered and in good condition, the frame is sturdy with no loose joints and only needs new top covers. I can arrange re-covering and supply fabric - please contact me for further details.
