A pair of 18th century French Louis XV style side chairs in original paint and with moulded and foliate carved frames, upholstered backs and seats with serpentine front and side rails and raised upon cabriole carved legs. 

The paintwork is beautifully distressed appears to be original, the chairs have been upholstered relatively recently in a textured seaweed pattern fabric and have nailed borders.
