Three Staffordshire or Yorkshire saltglaze stoneware lobed plates, circa 1760, of dished form with foliate scrollwork and basketwork moulded in relief, with a central a medallion containing a squared pattern and surrounded by eight scrollwork panels and outer reticulated border of scrolls and basketwork. 

In two sizes and patterns as follows; Two plates 22cm wide, one in each near matching pattern and the third plate 19.5cm wide in the same pattern as one of the larger plates.

Condition: Both larger plates cracked, one with a 6cm crack emanating from the rim and with restoration to the basketwork, the second larger plate cracked and taped to the reverse (although it appears to be stable. The smaller plate in good condition other than a small rim chip to the underside which is not visible from the front.
