A Regency Newhall Porcelain Teapot & Cover, circa 1820, the deep cobalt blue ground enriched with gilt trailing vines, one side reserved with a charming scene of children playing with a large dog, the other with a lady playing a harp with a child on her knee, a further reserve of strawberries beneath the handle. the lid with reserves of fruit. Rare red 'Newhall' circle mark to the underside (mark was used 1812 - 1825) and the pattern number 1277.
In excellent condition, no chips, tracks or restoration, glaze crazing to the underside, one very tiny fleabite to the edge of the lid.
