A Continental novelty porcelain dish, late 19th /early 20th century, the shell shaped dish with a frog and a lobster in costume seated at a table. 

From a rare series of novelty frog dishes which were possibly originially fairings, although they are very nicely modelled.

The frog lacking his right forearm.
