An antique German mid colour green mercury glass witches ball / Kugel, 19th century.

Hand blown glass and with original hanging loop attachment. When when hung witches balls reflect the entire room but were commonly hung in windows to deter 'witches' or the 'evil eye'.

The condition is largely what one would like and expect to find in an original antique example with pitting and character marks with age and remains very original. There are no cracks or damages.
